Horizon Travels

Horizon Travels is up on the 1st floor at No. 2, 1st Main Road, right near the Bd Ramanashree Hotel in Sampangiram Nagar. It’s a busy little office. We spend most of our time on the phone or typing on the computers. Being so close to the hotel means we get a lot of people wandering in asking for directions or help with their plans. The office isn't very big, and we have maps pinned to the walls that are a few years old now. We’ve got three desks squeezed in there. It gets quite loud when all the phones are ringing at the same time. We usually have a pile of passports and forms on the corner table that need sorting. Sampangiram Nagar is a hectic place, but we like being in the middle of it. Sometimes the internet goes slow, and we have to tell people to wait while we refresh the screen. We don't have any fancy brochures with glossy pictures; we just tell people what we know about the routes and the prices. My colleague usually brings lunch from home, and the whole office smells like food around noon. It’s just a normal place where we try to get people where they need to go without too much trouble. We've been here long enough that the local shopkeepers all know us. We just keep track of tickets and hope the schedules don't change at the last minute.
