We are based on Infantry Road inside the Blue Cross Chambers. Our specific spot is 7-G. It is a busy part of the city and there is always noise from the traffic on Infantry Road. We spend our days planning trips and booking things for people who want to go away on holiday. The office is often full of brochures and printouts of itineraries. We have been at Blue Cross Chambers for a good amount of time now. Working in the travel industry means we are always checking prices and talking to hotels. It is not always easy and sometimes things get complicated with bookings. We are just a small team here trying to make sure people have their tickets ready. The building itself is quite well known in the Ambethan area. We usually have the computers running all day and the phones don't stop ringing much. It gets a bit cramped when more than a few people come in at once. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby, just our desks and chairs where we do the work. Most of the people who find us are looking for a simple way to get their travel sorted without too much fuss. We stay open during regular hours and just try to get through the list of tasks we have for the day. It is a busy life but we are used to the pace by now.
