Hna Hardware

Hna Hardware is located at 177/1 Sardar Patrappa Road, right on Bhavanishankar Dadarkar Marg. We are just opposite Kolkata Tube, which is usually how people find us if they get turned around. The street is always loud and crowded, with trucks and bikes moving all the time. Our shop isn't very big, and it’s filled from floor to ceiling with all sorts of stuff. We’ve got boxes stacked in corners and tools hanging on the walls. It might look a bit messy to some, but we know where everything is. If you need something specific, you usually have to wait a minute while we dig it out from the back. We don’t have a fancy computer system to track every little bolt. We just remember. People come to us because we’ve been here on Sardar Patrappa Road for a long time. We know the trade and we know what works. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and dusty shelves, but that’s hardware for you. We don't wear uniforms or have a script for when people walk in. We just say hello and ask what you’re looking for. Some days are slow and we sit on stools out front, but most days it’s a constant stream of customers. We’re just Hna Hardware, a local shop trying to keep things simple for everyone. There is always tea being made in the back and the smell of grease in the air. We stay until the last customer leaves.
