Hmshost, Bangalore

We are located right in the middle of everything at the Main Terminal Building of the Bangalore International Airport. Being at Hmshost means we are always surrounded by people rushing to catch flights. It’s a very loud and fast-moving environment. We deal with food and service, so there is never a dull moment. Our team is usually on their feet for the whole shift. The kitchen gets hot and the counters stay busy from early morning until late at night. We don't have a quiet office to sit in. Instead, we are constantly checking stock and making sure the travelers get what they need before their gate closes. The airport never really sleeps, so neither do we. There are always suitcases rolling past and announcements over the speakers. It’s a bit of a maze in the terminal, but we’ve been here long enough to know all the shortcuts. We aren't trying to be a five-star restaurant; we just want to provide decent food for people who are tired and hungry from traveling. Sometimes the lines get long and people are stressed, so we just try to be quick. It’s hard work and your feet definitely ache at the end of the day, but it’s interesting to see people from all over the world passing through our doors every single day. We just keep serving the next person in line.
