Highwaves Technologies Private Limited operates out of Mantri Tranquil Apartments in Gubbalala. Specifically, we are up in Flat D-904. It’s a bit unusual to have an office in a big residential complex, but it works for us. The commute for some of us is just a walk across the hall or a short drive from nearby. It’s a lot nicer than being stuck in a cramped commercial building downtown. We have a good view of the area from the 9th floor, which is nice when we need a minute to look away from the screens. The apartment layout is mostly open so we can all talk to each other without shouting. It’s a quiet place, except maybe when people are using the pool or when there’s some construction going on in the next block. We didn't want a traditional office because this feels more relaxed and honest. There’s no front desk or security guard asking for an ID just to reach our door, aside from the main gate staff. We keep things pretty low-key here. Most of our work is done on laptops, so as long as the Wi-Fi is holding up, we are good to go. Gubbalala is a bit out of the way for some, but it’s growing fast. We’ve found that being based here helps us stay focused on the actual work instead of the office politics. It is a practical choice for where we are at right now.
