Hiflux Venetian Blind Co.

We’ve been running Hiflux Venetian Blind Co. out of this spot on 6th Cross for a good bit now. It’s tucked away in Gokul 1st Phase, right at No.475. Mostly, the day starts with checking the tape measures and getting the cutting tools ready. It’s a lot of manual work, making sure the slats line up and the pull cords don't get tangled before they leave the shop. If you walk in, you’ll probably see pieces of aluminum or wood shavings on the floor because we are usually right in the middle of a project. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. We have some samples hanging up so folks can see the colors, but the rest of the space is just for working. Some days are quieter than others, especially when the weather is heavy, but we usually have something on the bench. We handle the assembly ourselves here. The 9th Main area is decent for a business like ours since people can find us without too much trouble. We don’t spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. Usually, one of us is answering the phone while the other is measuring out a custom order. It’s just how things go around here. We just focus on getting the blinds finished and out the door so they can get put up in someone’s window.
