Hiflex Technology Services is tucked away in Marathahalli at number 76. If you know this part of town, you know the traffic can be a nightmare some days. But we like it here. It’s central enough that we can get to most places without spending half the day on the road. The office is basically a room full of cables and screens. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine, but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time just staring at monitors and trying to figure out why things aren't clicking. Most of the guys here have been working together for a few years now, so we don't need to say much to understand what needs doing. We share a small kitchen area where the kettle is always on. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, which is frustrating, but we manage. People drop by occasionally to ask questions or get something looked at. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from their desk to say hello. It's a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we try to keep it tidy enough. It’s just a regular workplace in a busy part of Bangalore. We do our hours, fix the issues, and then head home like everyone else. It’s steady work and we’re glad to be doing it right here in Marathahalli.
