Hicolite

You can find Hicolite on the first floor, right across from the BHS on Bull Temple Road. K.G. Nagar is usually pretty packed with traffic, so we see a lot of people passing by our window. We mostly deal with lighting and electrical bits. It’s a lot of bulbs, wires, and fixtures piled up on shelves. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped in here with all the inventory, but we know where everything is. People come in looking for something specific for their house or a small shop they’re fixing up. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights everywhere. It's more of a practical place where you get what you need and go. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep if you’re carrying a heavy box. We've been on Bull Temple Road for a while now. We’ve seen shops come and go, but we’re still here doing our thing. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fan going. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable spot to get parts. Sometimes we have to order things in if we don't have them on the shelf, which takes a few days. We just tell it like it is. If we can't get it, we'll tell you. It’s just me and the guys working through the daily orders and trying to keep the place organized.
