Hi-Tech Tools - Bengaluru

We’ve been tucked away here in Bommanahalli for a good while now. Our spot is at No. 5, 28/29, right behind the Essae Industrial Estate. If you know Begur Road, you know how the traffic gets, so most of us try to get in early before the madness starts. It’s a pretty standard setup here. We’ve got the machines running most of the day and the floor is usually covered in bits of metal and oil. Hi-Tech Tools is just what the sign says, though sometimes it feels more like a giant jigsaw puzzle with all the different parts we handle. We aren’t a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a workshop where we get things done. Some days it’s hot, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the roof, but we just keep at it. Usually, there’s a tea break around four where we all sit around and talk about whatever is going on. It’s not always quiet, with the sound of the equipment and the trucks moving around in the estate behind us. We’ve got a few racks of tools and some old desks where we do the paperwork. It’s a bit messy at times, but we know where everything is. People come by looking for specific stuff for their own shops or factories, and we just try to find what they need without making a big fuss about it. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day.
