Our office is situated at number 24 on the 2nd Main Road in Thavarakere. This part of Bangalore is called New Gurappanapalya and it is always full of life. It is not like the big corporate parks you see in other parts of the city. Here, Hewlett Packard Globalsoft Ltd is tucked away on a street where you can see local shops and houses all mixed together. The 2nd Main Road gets its fair share of traffic, especially with scooters and delivery vans moving around all day. We have a simple setup inside the building. It is not very big, but it fits everyone who works here. We usually start our day early to beat the worst of the Bangalore congestion. There is a small bakery nearby where some of us grab a quick snack in the afternoon. Living and working in this neighborhood means you get to know the local faces after a while. The building we are in is easy enough to spot once you get onto the right street, though visitors sometimes take a wrong turn at the main junction. We do not have any flashy displays or big posters on the outside. It is just a regular brick and mortar building where we handle our daily business. We like the fact that it feels like a real neighborhood and not just a sterile office zone. It is a practical place to be for our team and we just keep things moving along.
