Hewlett & Packard

Our Hewlett & Packard location is over in Ramaiah Layout, which is part of Kamanahalli. We are at 102 on 4th Cross. It’s a fairly busy neighborhood with lots of houses and small businesses. We’ve been at this Bangalore 560084 address for a while now. The office isn't very large, but it’s packed with electronics and boxes. Most of the time we are busy with repairs or helping people with their computer problems. It’s a hands-on kind of place. You’ll usually see someone with a screwdriver or a laptop pulled apart on a desk. We don't have a big showroom; it’s more of a workshop feel. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing with the small parts. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a lot of people bring their machines in at once. We just tell them to wait a bit or come back later. We try to be honest about how long things will take. My coworkers and I have been working with these machines for years, so we know our way around them. It’s a noisy place with the sound of fans and typing. We just keep our heads down and work through the pile of things to be fixed. It’s a steady job in a good part of town. There's always coffee in the break room and someone complaining about a stubborn software issue. We also get a lot of regulars who stop by to ask about their printers. It keeps the day interesting.
