Hertz Rent A Car (Carzonrent India Pvt Ltd)

We are located at N 2 on the 2nd Main Road in Bangalore. This is the office for Hertz and Carzonrent, so you can imagine there is a lot of talk about engines, tires, and oil changes around here. The 2nd Main Road is usually pretty packed with cars, which makes sense since we are in the car business. We spend our time managing the fleet and making sure the drivers are where they need to be. It’s a lot of checking keys in and out and looking at GPS trackers to see where the vehicles are stuck in Bangalore's famous traffic. The office itself is pretty functional. We have a lot of clipboards and files because there is always some paperwork to do when a car comes back from a trip. It isn't a glamorous job, especially when a car comes back with a flat tire or a scratch that wasn't there before. We have a small area where the drivers can sit and have their lunch while they wait for their next assignment. The weather in Karnataka is usually decent for driving, but the monsoon season makes everything a bit more stressful with the roads getting flooded. We just try to keep the cars clean and the paperwork organized so things don't get too messy. It is a busy place, but we have a good system going after all these years of doing this.
