Hertz International

Hertz International is situated at 10/17, Perumal Garden, which is right at the end of Park Road in Bangalore. It is actually a fairly nice spot because being at the end of the road means we don't get all the through-traffic. The garden nearby gives us a bit of green to look at, which is a relief in a city that is becoming mostly concrete. Our office isn't very large. It’s just a simple setup where we handle our daily business. We’ve got a couple of rooms and a small area where we keep our files and supplies. The atmosphere here is pretty quiet most of the time. We don't really have a lot of walk-in traffic, so we can focus on what we need to do. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for some time now and we’ve grown to like the neighborhood. It feels more like a community than a business district. Sometimes the monkeys come by and hang out on the roof, which can be a bit distracting but also kind of funny. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy here. Everyone just knows what they need to do and they get it done. We try to be helpful and honest in everything we do. It’s not a complicated way to run things, but it seems to work for us and the people we deal with.
