Helwett-Packard

We’re over at 39/40 in Electronic City. If you’ve ever been out this way, you know it’s a lot of glass buildings and paved roads. Our spot is pretty standard for the area. We have a lot of space, which is good because there are plenty of us working here at Helwett-Packard. It’s a long commute for some of the staff, so the mornings are always a bit of a rush to get in and get the coffee started. The building itself is functional. We have the usual desks, some meeting rooms that get used more for lunch breaks than anything else, and a lot of hardware lying around. Being in Electronic City means we’re surrounded by other tech companies, but we mostly just keep to ourselves. The days are filled with emails and fixing whatever systems have crashed. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Friday. We don't go in for anything flashy. Most of the furniture is just what was here when we moved in. We spend a lot of time on our headsets or typing. In the afternoons, the sun hits the windows quite hard, so we keep the blinds down mostly. It’s a decent place to work. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just keeping the tech running and making sure the bills are paid. It's a regular job in a regular part of the city. The parking lot gets pretty full by nine, so if you’re late, you’re walking a bit. We don't mind it much though. It’s just how things are in this part of Electronic City.
