Heena Gift Centre

We are set up in the Surana Complex, which is right by the Arabic College. Heena Gift Centre has been here for a while now. It’s a convenient location for people in this part of town. The shop is full of various gift items and daily necessities. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. Sometimes it feels a bit like a puzzle getting everything to fit. We spend most of our time at the counter or rearranging the displays. The area around the college is usually quite busy, which keeps us on our toes. We don't have a fancy office or a team of managers. It's just a small local shop. We know many of our customers by name since they’ve been coming here for years. We don't use any complicated marketing talk or try to sound bigger than we are. We’re just a local business trying to do a good job. Some days it’s quiet and we just catch up on chores, and other days it’s a bit of a rush. We take it as it comes. Being in the Surana Complex means we’re part of a little community of shops. We all know each other. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just keep the doors open and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by. The college students often stop in to look around, which keeps the place feeling young. We just stock what people ask for.
