Headrun Technologies Pvt Ltd is based at 122 BTM Layout 2nd Stage. If you have ever been to BTM, you know it is packed with people and small eateries. Our office is tucked away here among all the houses and other small businesses. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs to get to us. The space is filled with screens and the hum of fans. We don't have a big reception area or a fancy sign out front, just a door and our work. People here usually wear jeans and t-shirts, and there is always a half-empty coffee mug somewhere. We spend most of the day looking at code or talking through projects in the small meeting room. The 2nd Stage area is quite lively, so there is always noise from the street, like bikes revving or people shouting for a rickshaw. It makes the day go by faster. Sometimes we forget to eat lunch until it’s nearly three in the afternoon. Then someone goes out to get rolls for everyone. It’s a pretty relaxed environment, though we do get stressed when deadlines are close. We like being in this part of town because everything is within walking distance. It feels like a real neighborhood, not just a business district. The office is a bit cluttered with old cables and spare keyboards, but we know where everything is. We just keep working away at our desks until the sun goes down over the layout.
