Up on the 2nd floor here in Indiranagar, we’re right in the middle of everything. Being on 6th Main in Mottappanapalaya means there is always noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. The stairs are a bit narrow, so carrying heavy boxes up to the office is always a bit of a workout for us. We’ve got a small space, but we make it work. Most of the team lives nearby, so we spend a lot of time talking about the traffic or where to get the best lunch around Bangalore 38. We don’t have those fancy open-plan offices you see in the tech parks. It’s more like a bunch of desks shoved together where we can actually talk to each other without sending an email. The internet works most of the time, which is good because we’re always looking up parts or checking on orders. We have some old posters on the wall that have been there since we moved in. It’s a bit messy with cables running across the floor in some spots, but we know where everything is. When the rain starts in the afternoon, the whole street smells like wet pavement and we usually take a minute to just look out the window. It’s a practical place to work, nothing more and nothing less.
