Hari Kumarg

Our small office is located in Flat 306 of the Sai Smruthy Apartments in Bangalore. It is a regular residential building in the 560016 area. Hari Kumarg started things here and we have just kept it going. It is not a very big space so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We have a couple of desks set up in the main room. Most of the time it is just the two of us working away. The apartment is on the third floor so we get a bit of a breeze if we leave the balcony door open. Bangalore can get quite hot in the afternoons but the flat stays relatively cool. We don't have a sign outside the building or anything like that. People who need us usually already have the address. It is a very low-key operation. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons finishing up the paperwork. We don't have a fancy coffee machine so we just make do with a kettle. The neighbors are mostly families so we try to keep the noise down. It is a comfortable place to work from. We don't feel the need to be in a big office park. Being in a flat makes the work feel more personal and less like a chore. We just focus on what is in front of us and try to get it done right. That is the way we have always done it. It works for our small team.
