Hardware Planet

Hardware Planet is located at 35/1, Shantapalin, right at the Sp Road Cross. If you’ve ever been to Sp Road, you know it’s a maze of shops and people looking for parts. We are just one of the many spots tucked into the street. Our shop isn't very wide, but it goes back pretty deep. We have bins and boxes stacked everywhere. Sometimes it looks like a mess to an outsider, but we know exactly where the smallest screws and brackets are hidden. The traffic outside is constant. You hear horns honking from morning until the sun goes down. We keep a couple of stools near the front for when friends stop by to chat. It gets dusty because of all the construction nearby, so we are always wiping down the counters. We keep a big plastic jar of water for anyone who is thirsty. It’s a hot walk from the main road. We aren't a big chain store with matching uniforms. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for moving heavy boxes around. We have a small radio that plays the news in the background. It’s a simple life. We open up early and stay until the last customer leaves. Sometimes we stay late to count the stock. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where to find us at the cross. It’s just a regular hardware shop serving the neighborhood.
