Handwriting Academy Worldwide

We’re set up in Seshadripuram at number 32. It’s a place that feels more like a workshop than a school, really. We’ve got tables spread out and plenty of paper and ink all over the place. The whole idea here is just to get back to the basics of how people put pen to paper. In a world where everyone is typing on phones, we spend our days looking at loops and lines and how someone holds their pen. It’s quiet work, mostly just the sound of nibs scratching on paper and the occasional bit of advice being shared. Seshadripuram is a good neighborhood for this because it has a bit of an old-school soul to it. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who really like the way a well-written letter looks. The academy is basically just a room where people can slow down and focus on their handwriting without being rushed. We keep the lights a bit soft and try to make it a place where you can actually concentrate. Sometimes the ink spills and we have to scrub the tables, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with your hands. We’ve been at 32 for a while now and we’re quite happy with the way things are going. It is just a simple, practical place for learning.
