Evershine English School

We’ve been running Evershine English School here in Srinivasnagar for a while now. It’s located in the Kalidasa Layout, specifically at house number 19/20. Most people around Srinagar know the spot. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we get together to teach kids. Every morning the bells ring and the street gets a bit noisy with parents dropping off their little ones. We spend most of our time in the classrooms or tidying up the small office space we have. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there is always something going on outside our gate. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep going with the windows open. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a handful of us making sure the students have their books and the chalkboards are clean for the next day. Sometimes we stay late to grade papers or talk to a parent who stopped by after work. The layout here is a bit cramped, so parking can be a headache, but we make it work. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We’ve seen a lot of kids grow up and move on from here. It feels like part of the furniture in the community now. Just a plain school doing what schools do every day from Monday to Saturday. When it rains, the water collects a bit near the entrance, so we have to put down some extra mats. It’s not perfect, but it’s our place. Most of the staff live close by, so we just walk to the 19/20 block every morning. It's a simple life.
