We are based out of Muniyappa Layout, specifically on the first floor of building 306. Our office is right there on Wind Tunnel Road in Murugeshpalya, which is a pretty handy spot for getting around Bangalore. Being in maintenance means we are always on the move. Most of our day is spent coordinating where the guys need to go next to fix a leak or look at some wiring. We have a lot of tools lying around and old clipboards with schedules scribbled on them. It is not the neatest office you will ever see, but we know where everything is. The post comes to N A L-Post Bangalore -17, and we are usually there early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad. We have been doing this for years, so we have seen just about every kind of household problem you can imagine. Our shirts usually have a bit of dust on them by midday, and we spend a lot of time on our cell phones talking to people who have emergencies at home. It is a practical business, and we do not spend much on fancy furniture or decorations. We would rather spend that time making sure our ladders are safe and our vans have enough fuel. It is a busy life, but it feels good to get things working again for people. We just show up, do the work, and head to the next job.
