Handa Point

In Jayanagar, at Krishna Reddy Layout, you’ll find us at 312/A. Handa Point isn't a large place, but we keep it full. We have all sorts of things stacked up. Usually, it's pretty quiet in the mid-afternoon when the sun is hitting the front of the shop. I spend that time rearranging the shelves or dusting off the containers. Jayanagar has changed a lot, with new buildings going up everywhere, but our street stays mostly the same. We see the same people walking their dogs or going to the market every day. Sometimes they stop in just to say hello or buy one small thing they forgot. It's not a high-speed business. We take our time. The floor is a bit uneven in the back corner, so we have to be careful how we stack the heavier items. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so I know which shortcuts avoid the main road traffic. If you come by, you’ll probably see me sitting near the counter reading the newspaper or talking to the delivery guy. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and close them when it gets dark. It’s a simple setup. Handa Point is just a local spot for local needs. We don’t try to be anything else. Even when it’s raining, we stay here. Usually, I’m just tidying up the back room or checking the inventory list on my clipboard. It’s quiet but it’s ours.
