H Y Manjunath Adv is based out of the S V S Apartment at 1 Vasanth Nagar. Specifically, we are up on the 3rd floor in the New Janta Nagar section. It’s more of a residential building, so it feels very quiet and private here. We have a lot of books and stacks of papers because that’s just the nature of legal work. It’s not a big law firm with marble floors. It’s just an apartment where we have set up our desks and chairs. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, and you can hear them through the door. We spend a lot of time reading and writing. Vasanth Nagar is a good spot to be, and we have been here long enough that we know the shortcut to the local court. Most of our day is spent on the phone or meeting people who need some advice. We try to keep the files in order but sometimes they end up in piles on the floor when we are really busy. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don’t have any fancy assistants; we usually just answer the door ourselves. If you come by, you’ll probably find us hunched over a desk with a lamp on. It’s just honest work in a quiet apartment. We like the pace of things here in New Janta Nagar and the people who live nearby.
