If you know Avenue Road, you know how packed and narrow the streets are. Our office is right there in the Lakoor Complex, at number 133. It’s an old part of Bangalore, full of history and a lot of noise. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time. The office is small and filled with books and files that have been gathered over many years. It isn't the kind of place where you’ll find modern art on the walls or ergonomic chairs. H S Sheshadri Adv has wooden desks and a lot of paper everywhere. Being an advocate’s office in this area means we get a lot of walk-ins and people asking for advice. It’s usually very loud outside with the street vendors and the bikes, but once you step into the complex, it gets just a little bit quieter. We spend our days going through legal points and meeting with people who have all sorts of problems. It’s a lot of reading and a lot of talking. We don’t use any big marketing tricks to get people in. Most folks come to us because their father or grandfather knew the name. It’s a traditional way of working, and we haven't felt the need to change it much. Avenue Road is our home, and we like the busy atmosphere of the market. It keeps us on our toes and connected to the city's pulse.
