Guru Tours & Travels

We’ve been here at Palace Guttahalli for a while now. Most people around the neighborhood know us as Guru Tours & Travels. We’re tucked away on 1st Cross in the Munecshwara Block. It’s just a small office where we handle bookings and figure out travel plans for folks in Bangalore. It gets busy sometimes, especially during the holiday seasons. Usually, we are just sitting here answering the phone or looking at train schedules and car rentals. We aren't one of those big fancy agencies with uniforms and shiny lobbies. It’s just us and a couple of computers. We deal with a lot of local trips around Karnataka and some longer ones too if someone asks. The traffic around here can be a real mess, but we manage to get things sorted. People often stop by the office just to talk about where they want to go or to ask about prices. We try to keep things simple and honest. Sometimes the printer acts up right when we need to print a ticket, or the internet goes slow, but we get it done eventually. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the different routes and drivers. We know this part of Bangalore well. Being in this city, there is always someone looking for a ride to a temple or a quick weekend getaway. We just do our job and hope the cars run on time. It is what it is. Just a local travel spot trying to help people get from one place to another. No big brochures or flashy signs.
