Gunashekar R

You can find me at 38 Cubbonpet Main Road on the 25th Cross. It’s a narrow street like most of the ones in this part of the city. I’ve been here for many years and I know most of the people on this block. Gunashekar R is the name on the door, and that’s me. I run my operations from this small shopfront. It’s not very big, but it fits everything I need. We have some storage in the back and a small counter in the front. Cubbonpet is a hub for a lot of trade, so there’s always something happening right outside the door. Sometimes it’s hard for big vehicles to get through the lane, but we are used to it. I usually open up early in the morning before the sun gets too high. My work involves a lot of manual tracking and talking to suppliers. I don't have a computer with all the latest software; I prefer my ledgers and notebooks. I keep a small radio on the shelf to listen to the news while I work. It helps pass the time when the street gets quiet in the afternoons. People know where to find me if they need help or have a question. I don’t do much advertising. Most of my visitors come because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them about my place. It’s a simple life. We just keep going.
