Gskv Information Systems And Consultants (Opc) Private Limited operates out of Brigade Cosmopolis in Whitefield. It’s a big apartment complex, so we are basically working from a home-office setup in building I, unit 634. It’s a bit different from a traditional office building, but it fits the way we work. There is a lot of light coming in from the windows, which is nice when you’re stuck looking at data all day. Since it’s a consultancy, a lot of the work is just talking through problems and looking at systems on our laptops. Whitefield is always busy, but once you get inside the gates of the apartment, it’s surprisingly calm. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. It’s just us and our equipment. Sometimes we meet people in the common areas or just handle everything online. It’s a very straightforward way of running things. We don't really see the point in having a fancy office when most of the work happens inside our heads or on a server somewhere. The routine is pretty basic. We wake up, get some coffee, and start going through the list of things to do. It’s honest work and we take it as it comes. No fancy jargon or big promises, just sitting down and getting the technical stuff sorted out one day at a time while the world goes by outside the gates of the building complex.
