Green Rose

Green Rose is located in BTM 2nd Stage, right on the 33rd Main in Dollar Colony. It’s at number 14 in the 1st Stage area. It is a nice part of town with a lot of trees, which fits us well because we spend all our time thinking about plants and outdoor spaces. Our shop or office, whatever you want to call it, is often filled with the smell of damp earth and maybe some fertilizer if a delivery just came in. We aren't the type to sit behind a computer all day. Most of us have dirt under our fingernails and we prefer it that way. Whether we are dealing with roses or just figuring out how to make a small patch of grass grow in the shade, it is all about getting out there and doing it. The BTM layout has a lot of people who care about their gardens, so we see a lot of familiar faces coming by to ask about their shrubs or why their flowers aren't blooming. We don't have a polished sales pitch. We just tell you what we think will live and what will probably die in this heat. It is a practical way of looking at gardening. We keep things simple at the office. There are usually a few pots sitting around and some tools that need sharpening. It is a bit messy, but that is what happens when you work with nature every single day. We enjoy the work even when the sun is beating down.
