Green Gold Exports

We’ve been at 180, 1St Main Road in the Mahalaxmi Layout extension for quite a while now. The building isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a plain front with a heavy door that sticks a bit when it rains. Most mornings start with the sound of the metal shutters going up and the smell of coffee from the shop around the corner. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the boxes are stacked right near the back entrance. It gets pretty cramped inside when a big shipment is ready to go out, and we end up tripping over each other. The guys in the back are usually complaining about the heat, so we keep the old ceiling fans running all day, even if they make a clicking noise that never goes away. It’s mostly just us sitting at the desks, taking calls, and watching the traffic crawl by on 1st Main. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the whole road for a minute, and the neighbors get a bit annoyed, but we try to move fast. There isn’t a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some old chairs and a lot of paperwork piled up on the shelves. It’s a busy spot, and by the time five o’clock rolls around, we’re all pretty tired and ready to lock up. It’s just how things go here at Green Gold Exports. We don't change much.
