Greeline Travels

Greeline Travels is over on HMT Main Road in Mathikere, at number 5. It’s a small office but it suits us just fine. We’ve been working from here for a long time. It’s a busy street with lots of people moving about, which we like. Inside, it’s mostly just us, some computers, and a lot of maps on the walls. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re usually talking directly to the person who’s going to book your tickets. We handle a lot of local and long-distance travel. It’s not a complicated setup. We check the prices, see what's available, and let you know. We try to be honest about how long things will take or if a certain bus is better than another. There’s no big corporate strategy here. We just want to make sure people get where they’re going. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot of work to catch up on. The office can get a bit dusty with the windows open, but we don't mind. We’ve got a small kettle for tea and that keeps us going through the afternoon. It’s a regular local business. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just one that does the job right. People in Mathikere know us and that’s plenty for us. It’s a straightforward life working in travel.
