Grand Inn Hotel

The Grand Inn Hotel is tucked away on 2nd Main in Gandhinagar. It’s a crowded area with lots of shops and other small hotels nearby. Our building is number 99, and it stands right on the corner of the street. It’s a fairly simple setup we have here. The entrance is small and leads straight to the front desk where one of us is usually sitting. We don’t have a big fancy lobby with fountains or anything. It’s mostly just a place for people to sleep after they’ve spent the day out in the city. The streets outside are always full of people, especially in the evenings when the markets are busy. You can hear the motorbikes and the vendors from the lower rooms. We try to keep things as quiet as we can, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. The rooms are basic with just the things you need, like a bed and a small desk. We do the laundry ourselves and make sure the floors are mopped every morning. It’s a small team running the place, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from fixing leaks to carrying bags. We get a lot of people staying for just one night before moving on. It’s not a place for a vacation, just a decent spot to rest. We’ve been here for a few years and know most of the shopkeepers on the block.
