Grand Hyatt (5 Stars Luxury Business Hotel)

Running a place like this in Bangalore, specifically in the 560100 area, keeps us on our toes. It’s a big hotel, and there is always something going on in the lobby or the kitchens. We have a lot of rooms to look after, and the staff is constantly moving from one floor to another. It’s a luxury spot, sure, but for those of us working here, it’s just about getting through the daily list of chores. We deal with a lot of business travelers who are usually in a hurry to get to their meetings. The traffic in this part of Karnataka can be a real headache, so we spend a lot of time helping people figure out how to get around without getting stuck for hours. Our day starts early, often before the sun is even up, getting the breakfast area ready and making sure everything looks right. It’s not always perfect; sometimes a machine breaks down or we run out of a specific kind of tea, and we have to scramble to fix it. We’ve got a mix of people working here, some who have been with us for years and others who are just starting out. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the beds are made and the guests have what they need. It’s a massive operation, but we try to keep it feeling human and practical.
