Grand Ashok

Our place is at 25/2 Palanimudaliyar Street. You might see the name S. Omprakash or Muniraj on the documents because that’s how the space is registered. We are known as Grand Ashok, and we’ve been operating from this little corner for quite some time now. The street is usually quite busy with people coming and going, and it’s got that old-fashioned feel that you only find in these established neighborhoods. We don't have a giant neon sign or anything flashy to bring people in. Most folks find us by just looking for the door on Palanimudaliyar Street. Inside, it’s pretty basic. We have some chairs and a desk where we handle all the bookings or whatever else is going on that day. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of people over, but we make it work. The walls are a bit plain and we have a lot of old ledgers and papers piled up in the corners. It’s the kind of place where we know all the shopkeepers on the block and we share news over tea in the afternoons. We aren't trying to be some five-star corporate entity. We are just a local business trying to do a decent job for anyone who walks through the door. It’s a bit noisy at times because of the traffic, but that’s just part of being in this area. We like it here and just keep things moving along.
