I’m located at 25 Lalbagh Road. Specifically, I’m in the 6th-Kumbharwada Lane. It is a very old and traditional part of the city. If you walk down the lane, you’ll see it’s quite narrow and filled with history. My space is small and simple. I’ve been here for many years. Lalbagh Road is always busy with traffic, but once you step into Kumbharwada Lane, it feels a bit different. I do my work from a small desk. There are a lot of old books and papers around. It’s just how I like to keep things. People from the neighborhood know me. I don’t do any big advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people to my door. It’s a very human way of doing business. I might be having a tea when someone walks in, and we just start talking. There are no receptionists or waiting lists here. You just come in and we see what needs to be done. The lane can be a bit dusty, and the buildings are close together. That’s just the character of the place. I enjoy being part of this old neighborhood. It’s not about being the biggest or the most modern. It’s about being here and doing the work steadily every day. It’s a quiet life, mostly. I often watch the neighbors go about their business while I sit at my desk in the lane.
