Goodwill Technosys

Goodwill Technosys is based over at Yeshwantpur on Begur Road, number 28. Our office isn't anything like those big corporate buildings you see in the city center. It’s a practical space where we have a bunch of computers set up on plain wooden desks. There are wires running along the floor, mostly tucked under tape so nobody trips, and the sound of cooling fans is always there in the background. We spend most of our hours looking at screens and typing away. The building itself is older, and sometimes the lift doesn't work right, so we end up taking the stairs. We have a small area where we keep a kettle for tea and coffee, which is pretty much the fuel for everyone here. The windows look out over a busy part of the road where you can see the local life moving along. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and see us working. There are piles of manuals and old hardware components sitting in the corners. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We usually stay late because there’s always one more thing to finish on a project. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly just us and the machines, trying to get things to function the way they are supposed to. We just focus on the code and the hardware every day.
