Good Deals

Good Deals is our little shop located at 340 Thilak Nagar. The name pretty much tells you what we were thinking when we opened up. We sell a bit of everything, whatever we can get a good price on and pass along to folks. The shop isn't very large, so things are tucked into every corner. It can look a bit cluttered if you aren't used to how we organize. We spend most of our time at the front counter waiting for people from the neighborhood to drop in. Some regulars come in just to see what’s new on the shelves this week. Thilak Nagar is a lively place to be. There’s always someone walking past or sticking their head in to ask a quick question. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and close them when the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if a neighbor needs something urgently. The floor is concrete and the shelves are wooden ones we put up ourselves years ago. It works for what we need. Dealing with suppliers takes up a chunk of the afternoon hours. We try to keep things simple and honest. If we have it, we’ll sell it to you. If not, we might know who else does. It’s a basic way to make a living, but we like being part of the community here at 340. We have been here for years now and don't plan on moving anywhere else soon.
