Goldman Sachs

Our spot is in Shamana Gowda Layout over in Ulsoor. If you know Bangalore, you know Ulsoor is one of those older parts of town that still has a bit of character left. We are tucked away in the layout, which is a bit quieter than the main roads. It’s not a huge shiny skyscraper; it’s just where we handle things for Goldman Sachs. We have our desks and our equipment set up and we just get on with the day’s tasks. The layout has some nice trees, and you can hear the birds in the morning before the traffic really kicks in. Lunchtime is usually spent at one of the small eateries nearby or just sitting in the office if we brought food from home. The streets are a bit narrow, so if two cars meet, someone usually has to back up. It’s just part of the daily routine here. We don't go in for anything too fancy in the office. It’s functional and it works for what we need to do. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we have the backup to keep us going. Being near Ulsoor Lake is nice because the air feels a little cooler sometimes. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else. It’s a steady pace and we like the location well enough for what it is. We don't need much more than a quiet corner and a working computer.
