We are tucked away on 6th Cross in Bangalore at number 245. This part of the city is always buzzing with people and bikes, especially during the lunch hour when everyone is looking for a quick bite. Goldman Sachs As operates from this spot, and it’s a lot of us working on computers and staying busy with the daily grind. The office isn’t anything over the top, just a functional space with desks, chairs, and a pretty good internet connection which we really need. Some days the traffic on the cross road is so bad you can hear the horns all day long, but we’ve gotten used to it. We have a small corner for tea and snacks, which is where most of the talking happens. It’s a practical environment where we focus on getting through the workload. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and some notes pinned up. The building itself is typical for this area of Bangalore, squeezed in among other businesses and small apartments. Most of us take the bus or use the metro to get here since parking is a nightmare. It’s a straightforward setup where we show up, do what needs to be done, and then head home. No one here is trying to be flashy; we just want to make sure the tasks are finished before the weekend starts and the city gets even more crowded.
