Golden Landmark Hotel ,Bangalore

Our roots are actually in Moodbidri, even if the name says Bangalore. We are based out of Shimalke House in Boller, which is part of the Taccodepost area. It is a bit of a distance from the big city, located in the Mangloretaluk part of Dakshinkanada. The setting here in Karnataka is much quieter than the urban sprawl. Leo Rego’s place is where we handle our affairs. It’s a traditional kind of setup, not some modern office building. You can hear the birds and the wind in the trees more than you hear cars. We’ve stayed here because it’s where we belong. The work involves a lot of back and forth, but we do it at our own pace. It is a family-oriented vibe around the office. We don't have a HR department or a marketing team. We just have people who have been with us for a long time. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here, but we make do. It’s a honest way to run a business. We handle the hotel matters and the administrative stuff right from this house. It might seem a bit old-fashioned to some, but it works for us. We know our neighbors and we know the land. It’s just how things are done in this part of the country. We don't need much more. The postman knows us well since he has to come all the way out here. We don't get many visitors from the city, but that suits us just fine.
