Shakhi Fashions

We’re located at S-53 in the Golden Enclave on Airport Road. Being near the airport means things are always moving fast around here. Shakhi Fashions is just a small spot where we handle our clothing business. It’s not a huge boutique with mood lighting. It’s a practical space where we keep our inventory and do the daily tasks of running a fashion business. We have racks and racks of clothes squeezed into the unit. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives, and we have to shuffle everything around to find a path through the room. We don't have a team of models or a marketing budget. It’s just us doing the best we can with what we have. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby in the enclave. Airport Road is always noisy, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of planes and traffic. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the tags on the garments. It’s a lot of basic retail work. We don't pretend to be a high-end designer brand. We just sell clothes that people might want to wear. It’s a steady job, and we enjoy the routine of it. We open the doors in the morning and stay until the last task is done. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our business and we’re proud of it.
