Gold Finch Hotel, Bangalore

We are based out of Dindigul in Tamil Nadu, specifically in R.M. Colony. Our address is 13-D/37 and it’s actually C/O Regina Mary. It might seem a bit confusing because the name says Gold Finch Hotel, Bangalore, but this is where we handle the administrative side of things and all the paperwork. Regina Mary has been looking after this place for a long time. It’s a quiet residential area and doesn't look like a hotel at all because it isn't one. It’s more of a home office where we keep the records straight. The neighborhood is mostly families and the streets are pretty narrow, so it’s not like we have big trucks coming through. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the folks in Bangalore making sure everything is running okay up there. Sometimes we get mail meant for the hotel and we have to sort through it all right here on the dining table. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way because it’s peaceful. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby or anything. It is just a small room with some files and a computer that we use to stay connected. It’s just how we decided to organize things to keep costs down and stay focused on the work without the distractions of a big city office.
