Gokaldas Images Ltd.

You can find Gokaldas Images Ltd. over at 7 & 12 in the Industrial Suburb, 2nd Stage. It’s right off Tumkur Road in Yeshwanthpur, which is a pretty crowded area if you know it. We’ve got a decent amount of space here, but between the supplies and the finished goods, it always feels a bit cramped. The atmosphere is generally quite focused. There are rows of people working on different stages of production. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on Tumkur Road, and that throws off our whole afternoon. We just deal with it and stay a bit later to catch up. The building has that old industrial feel to it, with concrete floors and high ceilings that echo a lot. It’s not a place for people who like peace and quiet. There’s always someone shouting across the room or the sound of a forklift moving pallets around. We eat lunch together in a small break area, usually talking about anything but work just to give our brains a rest. The paperwork side of things happens in a corner office that’s always overflowing with binders and old records. It’s a straightforward operation. We make things, we pack them, and we send them off. There are no big secrets to how we work; we just show up and do the same thing day after day. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
