Gokaldas Exports Limited

Our office is located over in the Prakashnagar area of Bangalore. We are on the 7th Cross and 9th Main Road, specifically at house number 972. We have been in this spot for a long time. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of other small workshops nearby. The streets are a bit narrow, so it is always a bit of a struggle when big trucks come to pick up the boxes. Since we deal with exports, our days are filled with a lot of paperwork and checking shipping labels. The building is usually noisy with the sound of machines and people shouting over the hum. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It is a real working building where things get made. Many of our staff members have been with us for decades and they are like family. We have watched Bangalore turn into a massive tech city, but our little corner feels much the same as it always did. We focus on making sure the clothes are ready for the long journey ahead. There is a lot of re-checking involved in what we do. We don't go in for big speeches or marketing goals. We just want the orders to be correct. Traffic in Bangalore can make everything late, but we just take it as it comes. It is a tough business, but we like the work.
