We’ve been over here at number 482 in Horamavu Agara for a while now. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, right near the Agara Post office. Most days start with trying to find a good parking spot, which isn't always easy around here. Inside the office of Globaledgesoftware, it’s mostly just us working on computer programs and dealing with the usual glitches. The fans are usually humming in the background and someone usually has a tea brewing. We don't have fancy glass walls or anything. It's just desks, computers, and a lot of wires. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. People walk in and out, asking for directions or sometimes looking for work. We just keep our heads down and get through the tasks. It’s quiet enough to get things done but you can still hear the street noise from outside. Bangalore is growing so fast, and Horamavu feels like it’s changing every single week. New shops pop up and old ones close down, but we’ve stayed put at this address. We’ve got some old chairs that probably need replacing and a clock that’s five minutes fast. It’s not a showroom. It’s a place where we sit for eight or nine hours a day making things work on screens. That’s pretty much the whole story of what’s happening at 482 Horamavu Agara.
