It’s a bit of a distance from the main Bangalore city center, up towards the north where it’s a little cooler and less crowded. Global Franchise Architects is really about the nuts and bolts of how businesses grow. We work on the structures that let one shop turn into many. It sounds complicated, but mostly it’s just a lot of planning and looking at maps and numbers. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done. Yelahanka is growing fast these days, so there’s always something new being built nearby. We spend our days talking to people who want to start something new or expand what they already have. Sometimes we have to explain why a certain idea won't work in a specific neighborhood. It’s practical stuff. We have coffee, we sit at our desks, and we try to make sense of the market. It’s not all big meetings and suits; it’s more about figuring out how to make a business actually last. Being near the air force station gives the area a different feel, a bit more disciplined maybe. We just keep our heads down and handle the paperwork and the strategy for the various brands we look after. It's a lot of long hours but we enjoy the process.
