Our office is over at 94/1 in Chamrajpet, up on the first floor. Chamrajpet is one of those areas that has a lot of history and you can feel it when you walk the streets. At Gline Software Solutions, we occupy a space that’s seen a lot of different uses over the years. The floors are a bit worn and the ceiling has a few marks, but it’s our space and it works for us. We spend our time writing code and talking to clients on the phone. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. The first floor is convenient, though the stairs are a bit narrow. We have a small balcony where we sometimes stand to get a breath of air and look down at the street. The traffic in Chamrajpet can be something else, especially in the evenings. We usually wait for the rush to die down before we head home. Inside, the lights are bright and the computers are always humming. We don't have a fancy break room, just a table where we eat our tiffin and chat about random things. It’s a tight-knit group here and we don't go in for any of that corporate speak. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get home at a decent hour. It’s a simple, honest way to work without making any big promises we can't keep.
