Gl Hotels

Gl Hotels is located over in Basavanagudi, which is one of those older parts of Bangalore that still feels like the old days. We’ve been around here for a bit. Bangalore-4 is a busy area but it has a lot of character. Our place isn’t trying to be something it’s not. We just provide rooms and handle the daily hotel stuff. People who stay with us are usually looking for something simple and near the local markets. The streets around here can get pretty crowded, especially during festivals because of the temples nearby. We spend a lot of our time checking people in and out and making sure the rooms are tidy. It’s a lot of work running a hotel, but we’re used to it. The staff mostly lives nearby, so they know the shortcuts around the traffic. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us on the ground, making sure things work. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or the internet gets slow, but we fix it as fast as we can. That’s just how it goes with older buildings in this part of town. We like the food stalls around here. It’s a good spot if you want to be in a real neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day. It’s a steady business and we know our regulars well. We have some plastic chairs in the lobby and a ceiling fan that clicks during the night.
