Getting to the 13th floor of Prestige Meridian-1 on M.G. Road can be a bit of a wait during the morning rush. The elevators are usually packed with people from all the different offices in the building. Givaudan India Pvt. Ltd. has been up here for some time now. From our windows, you can see the traffic crawling along below, which makes you glad you’re already inside. It’s a busy spot, being right in the middle of everything. The office isn't anything too crazy, just the usual desks and meeting rooms where we spend most of our day. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, so most of us keep a sweater on the back of our chairs. It’s a fast-paced environment because of the location, but we try to keep things steady. Lunch breaks usually involve going down to find something to eat on the main road, though it gets crowded fast. Working in a high-rise has its perks, like the view when the sun starts to set over the city. You get used to the city noise after a while. It just becomes part of the background. We aren't trying to be fancy, just keeping up with the daily tasks that come our way. People come and go through these doors all day long, and the lobby downstairs is always a hive of activity. It’s just how life goes on M.G. Road.
