Finding the place is usually easy for people because they just look for the Nandini Hotel. If they miss that, I tell them I am right opposite to Gundu Rao’s house. I have been on this first floor for quite a long time now. RT Nagar is always humming with noise and people going about their business. Rahamath Nagar specifically has a lot of energy. My office is basically just a room with a desk, a couple of chairs, and some travel brochures that are a bit outdated. I spend most of my time on the phone or looking up schedules on the computer. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so I usually keep the window open. You can hear the traffic and the people eating at the hotel nearby. I don't really have a big team, it's mostly me handling the bookings and answering questions. People come in for all sorts of things, like bus tickets or planning a trip to see their family. I try to stay organized but sometimes the papers just pile up. It’s a simple life and I like the people who stop by to chat. I have known some of these neighbors for years and we always help each other out when needed. It’s just how it is around here.
